Friendly Fixture announced

We have been invited to play against the U12 Greenfields team again on Sunday 26th October. This is scheduled as a Half term week off.  

I would like to play this fixture as we have had such an on/off start to the season – it would be good to get a run of games going.

The match will be at Kings Park, in the morning.

Please let me know if you are planning on being away for this date so I can judge numbers.

2nd Round of the BYFL Cup

The draw for the second round of the BYFL Cup has been made:

After an easy passage (with a bye) to the second round, Greenfields U11 got paired with Mudeford Swans from Division 12.

The match will take place AWAY at Mudeford Swans on October 12th 2014

U11 FIXTURE LIST 2014/15

Here are the season's fixtures for the U11 squad.

The BYFL have decided to take the 24 teams who competed in last years 2 divisions & split them into 3 divisions, making 3 leagues of 8 teams. In the meantime, Kingswood have folded, leaving us  - in the top division with only 7 teams. Clearly, this would have meant very few matches so the we are scheduled to play each other 3 times. This gives us 18 league matches + the Bournemouth Cup.

Branksome & Redhill were the promoted sides from the lower division last season. As you can see, all these teams are very good & we are in for a very tough season. No 'easy' games this time around!

Where there are blanks next to a date is because of the odd number of teams in our league so one team each week does not play. However, fixtures can be rearranged due to bad weather, frozen pithces etc. Also, Poole Town Wessex play in the Dorset Cup too and fixtures could clash. So please don't plan on those Sundays being free until midweek of that week. The BYFL has seen sense though & left space for half term, Xmas & Easter. Those dates are listed & no game will take place. 31/03 is an evening fixture if games need to 'caught up'.
